Junior Club Membership

Welcome to the Junior Club Membership Registration!

Junior Club Membership includes ISI levels Pre-Alpha to Delta that have group lessons with other skaters in and around the same ISI level. The registration fee and coaching fee structure is listed below. The coaching fees are pre-paid and will automatically be added at checkout.

Your skater is required to be registered with ISI prior to season start. If you skater is not registered, they will not be able to participate until they are and they are still responsible to pay the full registration fee and the pre-paid coaching fees.

At the end of registration, there is a box to put your skater's ISI Registration number. List n/a if you do not have it yet.

Levels

Skaters are tested 1 time per year on the required maneuvers of each ISI level for potential advancement. Pre-Alpha, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Freestyle 1-10.

When

Skating Season begins around October 6th and will end by the end of March. End of the year Banquet held in April or May.

Registration Costs

  • Early Bird Pricing is available if paid in-full by 8/31/2024. The pricing includes $200 registration fee + $180 in coaching fees for a total of $380. Coaching fees are an estimated amount, pre-paid and collected at time of registration.

  • Regular Pricing is $220 registration fee + $180 coaching fees for a total of $400.00. Regular pricing can be chosen anytime during registration. Coaching fees are an estimated amount, pre-paid and collected at time of registration.


  • The installment payment option is a deposit of $130 at the time of regular registration with 3 installments of $90 due on 10/1, 11/1 & 12/1.


  • Mid-Season Registration is available with pro-rated pricing and will be added to the registration process at the time of entry. The amounts will vary depending on time of registration.


  • A Late fee will be imposed if more than 5 days late, in the amount of $10.00

Skating will be held at Prairie Island Arena located at 370 Guernsey Lane Red Wing, MN 55066

Group Lessons

Lessons are held on Sunday's, ranging from 2:15pm-5:45pm. Schedules are provided each individual week.

Coaching fees are in addition to registration fees and collected at registration. The amount is an average per skater collected the last 2 years. The coach is paid by the RWFSC.

  • At the end of the season, if there is an overage, we will provide a credit to the skater. If there is a shortage of fees collected, the skater/guardian will be billed for the additional amount due.

Volunteer Requirements

The RWFSC is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that is ran by volunteers and relies on donations and sponsorships for continued success. Our members are expected to volunteer and participate in fundraising events.

Spring Show Information

The Spring Show structure includes:

  • Registration due by December 15 (optional to all club skaters)
  • Professional photos taken in February on a scheduled date. All skaters will be required to attend
  • Show week practice - Mon thru Fri practice 4 hours/day (approx).
  • Two show performances. Saturday evening & Sunday afternoon

Does my skater have to participate in the Spring Show?

No, this is optional. Your skater does not have to participate in the Spring Show

2024 - 2025 Season

Junior club lessons are group lessons of up to 15 skaters in the same level with a professional coach. The expected cost to be between $7-$15 per week depending on the amount of the skaters in the group.
